A liquid solution mixed with pH between 5 and 9 and DK-DOX® TEC 1000, creates a progressive reaction of chlorine dioxide an oxygen. Reduction of anions such as sulphites, nitrites, etc. converts directly to the maximum level of oxidative valence. Organic mixtures can be converted in oxygen derivates, so that a following chlorination won’t be possible.
The biocide effect is due to the disinfecting action of chlorine dioxide, that is synergically boosted from presence of other chlorine dioxide components.
